Frequenly Asked Questions
How is Rentified different from other rental sites?
Rentified doesn't rely on advertising revenue, paid accounts, or subscription fees to search or list rental properties. Visitors looking for rentals pay
nothing, and at this time it's free to list properties. Other websites typically charge $50 or more to list rental property.
I signed up for an account but did not receive an email. What should I do?
Check your spam folder. Emails from Rentified come through to most domains without issue (gmail, yahoo, etc), but we have problems with some (live.com/hotmail.com in
particular). Your confirmation should arrive within 2 minutes of signing up.
How can I contact landlords about a rental?
Each rental has a form on the right side that allows email contact directly to the individual or group that created the listing. If the listing includes a phone number, it
will be on the left bottom side of the listing. For more information on contacting someone about a rental, see the
help page.
I contacted someone about a rental and they never responded. What do I do?
You can hang tight or send another message. At this point, members that signup and list rentals aren't required to provide a phone number, and we try to respect the privacy of the landlords.
Your site looks crazy. I'm using Internet Explorer 6.
At this time the only browsers supported are Mozilla Firefox 2.0+, Apple Safari 3+, and Internet Explorer 7.0+. The site should still work, but some functionality and accessibility may be limited.
A bunch of the links/buttons don't work!
To provide a more user-friendly experience, Rentified relies heavily on Javascript; at this time you'll need to have Javascript enabled to use many of the features. Though an HTML-only version is being developed, it's not available yet.
